In Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs), the sensor nodes determine the path to the sink to send data. Data transmission may occur straight to the sink node or through the intermediary nodes, depending on the chosen option. Because sensor nodes have a finite amount of energy, it is crucial to establish an effective routing mechanism to extend the network's life. This article introduces Coyote Optimization Algorithm for enhancing connectivity (COAC) in WSN. The network creates a rendezvous zone and develops a tree that is useful for time-sensitive applications since they minimize the delay. This mechanism uses Coyote Optimization Algorithm (COA) to decide the Mobile Sink (MS) stopping place at a rendezvous zone; thus, it improves the network performance. The MS improves network connectivity and reduces unwanted energy utilization in the WSN. The network simulator NS-2.34 is use to measure the network performance. Experimental results show that the COA based system improves energy efficiency and minimizes the network delay.
