Cyber terrorism is a growing concern around the globe. The role of AI in countering cyber terrorism is another concern and challenge for national security agencies around the globe. This research explores the role of artificial intelligence in combating cyber terrorism and its potential advantages. In order to identify, prevent and respond to cyberattacks, the role of AI is explored in this research paper through a review of literature and various studies, the role of artificial intelligence and its applications is identified in combating cyberterrorism. Further, the paper examines the limitations associated with combating AI-powered attacks such as shortage of data and resources, lack of efficiency, etc., and also discusses the possible remedies. The use of artificial intelligence is going to multiply in the near future to develop strategies and plans to mitigate the risks of terror threats. The research emphasizes the cooperation of enforcement agencies, law, and the private sector to address this evolving issue. The analysis discloses that artificial intelligence is highly useful in mitigating cyberattacks. The use of artificial intelligence in combating cyber terrorism can help security agencies around the globe to stay ahead of attacks and respond quickly and effectively.
