The “Anti-theft facial recognition and alcohol-detection car ignition switch” paper describes a new technology that combines two advanced features to improve car safety. This study looks at how effective the system is at preventing car thefts and accidents caused by drunk drivers. This system employs facial recognition technology to identify the driver and determine whether or not they have permission to start the vehicle. This feature works by using a dashboard-mounted camera to take photos the driver’s face. The image is then compared to one already stored in the database to confirm the driver’s identity. The system prevents the car from starting if the driver is not identified. Furthermore, it employs an alcohol detection sensor to determine the driver’s level of intoxication before starting the vehicle. If the alcohol content exceeds the permissible limit, the system prevents the car from starting.
