A comparative study on access control mechanism for blockchain enabled scalable systems in health care

Blockchain has been one of the most interesting areas for a long time and it is also being used in various industries. Healthcare is one sector where blockchain technology can be used due to its security, privacy and decentralized nature, which benefits the healthcare system in many ways. The electronic health systems face different issues related to security, scalability, and integrity. In this paper, we discuss how the blockchain-enabled system can find the solution to the issues. We present a framework which reduces the load on the nodes by using some special calculations and also provides secure storage of the electronic records. Moreover, the framework also discusses the scalability problems faced by blockchain technology. The framework provides a scalable electronic healthcare system that solves the problems related to the scalability of blockchain.
