Artificial intelligence (AI) describes techniques that allow computer to perform the sequence of tasks in the absence of human beings. AI cannot replace the human mind but can create the virtual presence of human mind. This chapter will talk about the Personalized Physio-care system and how the technology has impacted the physiotherapy treatments. Telerehabilitation is the need of today’s era. Physiotherapy is the area where patient need to be treated under constant supervision and physical presence of Physiotherapist. Telerehabilitation has made it possible to support all patient’s physio treatment through distant location as well. But there are many challenges that are discussed in this chapter. This chapter also suggests technical recommendations to ease-out such challenges. Many AI and IoT based healthcare models are in existence for the basic healthcare systems. Physiotherapy can be executed through telerehabilitation mode and can be strengthened with AI based models as suggested in this chapter. The predictive model using decision tree classifier covers data sets like BP, Barthel index, pain, etc. The outcome of this model gives the results indicating the deviation from normal and the suggestive treatments. The reader can take this suggestive prototype for enhancing the digitized physiotherapy treatment on various parameters.
