High Performance Level with Low Energy Consumption Using Individual Routing of Event and Query Packets for Location Identification in WSN

Kanika Seth · 2023

The emergence of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) has enabled the development of efficient and innovative approaches to the location identification problem. These networks have the capability to collect sensory data from a variety of sources, and have presented new challenges when it comes to routing packets from both events and queries to the appropriate locations. This paper presents a new approach to the problem of individual routing of event and query packets for location identification in WSNs. By combining network centric approaches with the existing location-based services, the proposed approach provides an improved way of routing by utilizing the location information of the sensor nodes. Results of experimentation with a simulated network demonstrate the advantages of the proposed approach, since it enables accurate location identification with a much lower routing deficit compared with other existing methods. The proposed approach has the potential to provide a robust platform for location identification in Wireless Sensor Networks.
