A class of permutation quadrinomials over finite fields

Let Fq denote the finite field of order q. In this paper, we investigate the permutation property of the quadrinomial f(x)=x+a1xq(q−1)+1+a2xq+a3x2(q−1)+1 over Fq2, where q is odd and a1,a2,a3∈Fq*. More precisely, we obtain the necessary and sufficient conditions for f(x) to be a permutation polynomial over Fq2.
