Crowdfunding is the collective engagement of a large group of people in raising capital or money to finance the idea of an individual or group of individuals. Traditional data crowdfunding platforms, on the other hand, are nearly always built on a centralized design, which tends to provide the platform administrator undue benefits; also, centralized platforms are apparent targets for cybersecurity threats and constitute a single point of failure. Furthermore, a centralized method with strict security controls has major scaling problems. To overcome the aforementioned concerns, we offer the idea of a blockchain-based approach for fine-grained crowdfunding data authorization. To accomplish fine-grained permission, business start-ups can use Ciphertext-Policy Attribute-Based Encryption to pre-process the complicated encryption workload and produce the attribute private key for data requesters, i.e. investors. In this study, we further demonstrate that our system meets the accuracy and fairness criteria of data sharing, and that it can successfully survive harmful internal user actions as well as external attackers.
