Social networks have seen a rapid increase in usage and popularity over the past decade, with billions of users worldwide engaging in various platforms. As these platforms continue to store and manage massive amounts of user data, concerns about data security and privacy have grown. This research study addresses the central research question of how existing cloud security models address the unique security challenges associated with social networks and explores the improvements that can be made to enhance protection against threats. This research study examines the current cloud security models utilized by social networks and explores their effectiveness in addressing the unique security challenges posed by these platforms. This research study also identifies the areas for improvement and proposes potential solutions to enhance the security of social networks.
