Smart shopping using RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) and Wi-Fi technology is an innovative approach to enhance the shopping experience of customers by providing them with real-time information about products. The system consists of RFID tags on the products and Wi-Fi access points installed throughout the store. The tags on the products are detected by the RFID readers installed on the access points, which then transmit the information to the customer's smartphone through the Wi-Fi network. The use of RFID and Wi-Fi technology in smart shopping carts has several advantages over traditional shopping carts. It eliminates the need for manual scanning of items at the checkout, which saves the time and reduces errors in billing also eliminates the queues. Additionally, retailers can use the data collected from the system to optimize their inventory and improve their supply chain management. Smart shopping using RFID and Wi-Fi technology has the potential to revolutionize the shopping experience by providing customers with a more convenient and personalized service while also benefiting retailers through increased sales and improved efficiency. With the increasing demand for contactless and seamless shopping experiences, the adoption of this technology is expected to grow rapidly in the near future.
