AGILE CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGEMENT

International Research Journal of Modernization in Engineering Technology and Science · 2023

Agile methodology is a style of project management technique, primarily utilized for software development, where needs and solutions grow via the cooperative work of self-functional teams and their customers.Project development, planning, and execution have seen significant modifications during the past few decades. This has resulted from adopting multiple agile project management strategies rather than the more conventional waterfall project management. It is primarily appropriate for complex projects where there is a delay in construction projects and the final delivery is given in advance. When that happens, building information modelling technology becomes crucial to the Agile method, serving not only as the technological framework for an information model of a construction project but also as a novel construction strategy that offers additional advantages not yet fully documented in the literature.
