Research on Operation and Maintenance Management System of Data Center SDN Network

This paper firstly reviews the development status of SDN technology based on Open Flow. Then this paper proposes a SDN networking scheme and its corresponding network architecture and key technologies suitable for large-scale data center. In this networking scheme, the multi-POD networking structure is introduced. An independent SDN controller and forwarding device are deployed in each POD. The system centrally manages multiple pods through a unified cloud management platform. The system realizes customer network customization, network automatic configuration, host legitimacy verification, host access control, DC traffic scheduling, virtual machine migration and other business functions through the development of Open Daylight controller core components, cloud management platform and collaborator. The feasibility of the design is proved by the actual system development and the business loading experiment.
