Proof of concept (POC) MPLS-TP performance for teleprotection

Since 2007, Distribution Network has established its own fibre optic network. This network plays an important role for mission critical applications used under Distribution Network. However, the actual potential of fibre optic was not realised as there was no proper communication redundancy and routing solution that's able to increase service reliability, availability and reduce service downtime. This POC will explore the possibility of using MPLS-TP communication equipment to deliver smart and efficient communication for current and future application support, especially for teleprotection.
