AHFD: A Framework for Deployment and Management of Hyperledger Fabric Enterprise Blockchain

Rupsingh Mathwale · 2023

Hyperledger Fabric is an open-source blockchain platform. It has a modular architecture and it allows smart contract development in general programming languages like Go, Java, and Node. These features make it suitable for various enterprise use cases. However, deploying a Hyperledger Fabric network can be a complex task as it involves configuring various components and setting up the blockchain infrastructure. To reduce this complexity, the Automated Hyperledger Fabric Deployment (AHFD) framework has been designed and developed. AHFD automates deployment tasks using open-source software and scripts, enabling the automatic setup and configuration of a Hyperledger Fabric blockchain network. This framework is useful in the deployment and management of a Hyperledger Fabric network by reducing manual configuration and setup work. The framework has been deployed and tested on Kubernetes cluster i.e., kubeadm, the experimental results shows that the framework can be used to easily set up a blockchain consortium.
