This paper addresses the communication challenges faced by mute individuals who lack the ability to convey information through verbal means, which is the most common form of communication among people. The absence of acoustic sounds greatly hinders their ability to interact effectively. Furthermore, the general population often lacks understanding of sign language, further exacerbating the alienation and exclusion experienced by mute individuals. To bridge this communication gap, we propose the development of a cost-effective glove equipped with encoders, a gyroscope, an ESP-32 microcontroller, and a Text-To-Speech android application. This innovative solution aims to convert hand gestures, representing sign language, into audible speech. By leveraging their familiar sign language, mute individuals can communicate more efficiently and comfortably. Moreover, the proposed glove is notable for its affordability, making it one of the cheapest solutions in this domain.
