A Roadmap to ISMS ISO 27001 Implementation Process

Due to advancement in ICT systems their usage has increased manifold now a days but at the same time these systems cyber-attacks have also increased at the same pace. In order to safeguard against such threats Information Security Management Systems are being implemented. These ISMS are certified to some standards in order to provide assurance to the customers about effectiveness of information security implementation. Present work outlines a roadmap to implementation of such a standard called ISO 27001. It may be helpful to the information owners in order to implement such standard in their organizations.
