Robust Watermarking for Medicine
Preeti Sharma · 2023
A distinct and spreading scaling-based image-adaptive watermarking technique is presented here. A selective plantation of watermark is achieved in small assembled slab(s) of an image, possibly along the independent entropy of the slab(s). The incognizance of the procedure lies in the flexibility of the factor, which can be changed easily to procure an integrated strength of visible category of the watermarked image. The strength factor (STF) is analysed utilizing the entropy of discrete wavelet transform (DWT) units of cubes having larger entropy. Robustness analysis of the methodology proves the connection betwixt the invisibility of the watermarked images and watermark extraction for various merits of STF under various attacks. The invisibility of the watermarked image at the receiver was obtained utilizing peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR), and watermark recovery was estimated as bit error rate (BER). The methodology is utilized for copyright protection of medicinal figures.
