Recent Deep Learning Techniques for Sentiment Analysis

Sentiment analysis refers to the use of natural language processing, text analysis, computational linguistics, and biometrics to systematically identify, extract, quantify, and study emotional states and subjective information. Because of its practicality, this technology has become more and more popular in recent years, attracting the attention of many scholars. With the development of hardware devices in recent years, deep learning has also become a popular research discipline. Some researchers have also begun to try to apply the ideas of deep learning to sentiment analysis tasks. Although great progress has been made in the research work around the task, there are very few reviews on the task, and a comprehensive review of the development of the task in recent years is lacking. Therefore, this article will provide an overview of sentiment analysis tasks. This paper introduces what methods have been used to improve the performance of the task in recent years, and also analyses the potential problems in the task.
