Photonic Reservoir Computing Based on Reflective Semiconductor Optical Amplifier

We propose a time-delayed photonic reservoir computing structure utilizing a reflective semiconductor optical amplifier. Simulation results indicate that improved time series prediction performance can be achieved, compared to the traditional reservoir computing system.
