Spectrum sensing is considered to be one of the most important technologies in cognitive radio networks. It has been extensively studied. However, the existing works mostly focus on one-dimensional or two-dimensional spectrum sensing by deploying spectrum monitoring devices in the ground. Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) can flexibly fly in the sky and achieve aerial spectrum sensing. In this paper, a spatial spectrum sensing scheme is proposed by exploiting the UAV. The angle information and position information are fully utilized to fuse the spectrum sensing results. Moreover, the expressions of the detection probability under diverse fading channel models at a single position level and whole scheme level are derived respectively. Simulation results demonstrate that the spatial spectrum sensing scheme considering the angle information and position information can significantly improve the sensing performance.
