Ureka: A Decentralized and Secure System for Managing Personal IoT Devices

This paper presents Ureka, a decentralized and secure open system for managing personal IoT devices. Ureka comprises three key components: a personal private system, a blockchain smart contract accounting system, and a ticket module for IoT device access. The personal private system provides a secure means for individuals to manage their personal data and identities, while the smart contract system audits access records. The ticket module ensures secure access management. By adopting a decentralized approach to personal and IoT device management, Ureka offers enhanced security and privacy compared to existing proprietary systems.
