AES Encryption Method Based on Chaotic Cryptography

This paper presents a novel chaos-based Advanced Encryption Standard technique for image and data protection that can be applied to industrial controller for the Internet of Things (IoT). The proposed Chaos-based Advanced Encryption Standard (Chaos-AES) has two main features: (1) The rolling chaos key provides the characteristics of not being easy to crack and rolling correction. (2) The encryption rounds are flexible, and the protection level of encrypted data can be adjusted as required. Experimental results show that the proposed Chaos-AES structure is effective and feasible for data protection during transmission.
