In this paper, a denoising method of bandlimited graph signal without using graph Fourier transform (GFT) basis is presented. First, the bandlimitedness prior in spectral domain is used to develop a denoising method which needs to know the orthonormal basis of GFT for computing the denoising matrix. Second, the denoising matrix of bandlimitedness-based method is approximated by the transfer matrix of graph filter whose optimal coefficients are determined by minimizing the Frobenius norm of error matrix. Third, the approximate denoising graph filter is implemented in vertex domain, so the proposed method does not need to know the orthonormal basis of GFT. Finally, the temperature data at USA is used to validate that proposed GFT free method can provide almost the same performance as the conventional method.
