It is a great pleasure for us to welcome you to the fifth edition of the IEEE International Conference on Artificial Intelligence Testing (AITest) held in Athens, Greece on July 17 th -20 th , 2023.This will be the first time AITEst takes place in Europe, which is a great opportunity for experts from all over the world to gather in a historical European city, Athens.Besides, the co-location of AITest with the other conferences and workshops under the IEEE CISOSE 2023 International Congress umbrella enables all participants to communicate and interact with researchers and practitioners from different disciplines, making it possible for breakthrough ideas to germinate and why not give birth to major collaborative projects.The submissions of AITest 2023 covered widely different topics in Artificial Intelligence (AI) testing and quality assurance of AI applications.All submissions were carefully reviewed by at least 3 of the 45 program committee members and invited reviewers.16 papers were accepted as regular papers and 9 were accepted as short papers to be presented in the conference.The topics include testing of deep learning models, simulation-based AI testing, metamorphic testing for machine learning models, using machine learning methods for software applications testing, testing of autonomous driving systems, text classification and natural language processing, testing Q&A systems, and other related topics.
