Application Integrity Assurance System

This research proposes a blockchain-based method to safeguard the integrity of applications within operating systems. The Application Integrity Assurance System (AIAS) has been developed to ensure the integrity of applications. AIAS utilizes the blockchain to securely store and record application manifests, respectively. While blockchain technology prevents tampering, ensuring the application's integrity. Being decentralized, AIAS requires no separate infrastructure to operate. The prototype was developed and tested on an AR platform based on the Android operating system.
