Machine Learning Techniques to Detect Cyber-Bullying

Cyber-bullying is a growing concern in today's society, especially in countries like India where the language used for online communication is often a mix of Hindi and English, commonly known as ‘Hinglish’. In this study, a machine learning-based approach is proposed for detecting cyber-bullying in Hinglish text. This study utilizes several natural language processing (NLP) techniques and a variety of machine learning algorithms to analyze the linguistic features of Hinglish text and identify instances of cyber-bullying. Proposed experimental results on a dataset of Hinglish tweets show that the proposed approach achieves a high accuracy rate in identifying cyber-bullying instances in Hinglish text.
