The rapid growth of data in today's digital age has increased the demand for efficient document management systems. One solution to this problem is the use of portable Network Attached Storage (NAS) devices. Portable NAS devices provide users with the ability to store and access their files on-the-go, making ideal for professionals who require access to important documents while traveling. In this research study, explore the development of a portable NAS device for document management. The proposed device is based on the Raspberry Pi platform, which is a low-cost, single-board computer that offers powerful computing capabilities. The device is designed to provide secure and reliable file storage and sharing capabilities, with the ability to encrypt files and implement access control measures to protect sensitive data. This study presents an overview of the proposed device's hardware and software components, and discuss its potential applications in various fields, including education, healthcare, and business. The proposed device can provide users with a convenient and reliable solution for managing their documents, while also ensuring data security and privacy.
