Survey and Comparison of Nature Inspired Optimization Algorithms

Nature Inspired Meta-heuristics algorithms have made a profound contribution to the field of optimization ever since they have been initiated in the late 1980s and have gained immense popularity in the last decade. The aim of this research survey is to study and compare the performance of different types of nature inspired meta-heuristics algorithms by the means of evaluating them over several benchmark functions and compare the best so far value obtained by the algorithms. Every algorithm is run multiple times to ensure diversity in results and are compared using four different measures.
