Cidadania íntima: considerações críticas sobre a lei trans* na Espanha

Starting from a decolonial and transfeminist point of view, the main aim of this paper is to critically review the so-called Spanish trans* law, particularly in relation to the recognition of the intimate citizenship of trans*, non-binary and intersex people. With this purpose, we proceed to a reflection on the underlying cisnormative and allosexist assumptions in the law. These assumptions undermine the transgressive potential of the norm and reveal the power that coloniality exercises over the intimate citizenship of LGBTQIA+ people, for which the need to decolonize and depatriarchalize it is discussed.
