Study on Power Consumption Modes and Power Quality According to IEEE1459 Standard in the Electric Power Supply Systems Of Public Buildings
Valentin Gyurov, Milen Duganov · 2023
This article presents an analysis of the electricity consumption modes of a public service building, against the IEEE 1459 standard. The essential role of the IEEE 1459 standard is to present the definitions and understandings for evaluating the quality of electric power consumption; for the design of measuring instruments; for the development of measuring methods and algorithms. The main task of the research is to check the quality indicators of electric energy for end users at low voltage level ($\mathrm{U}=400\mathrm{V}$) in electrical power supply system of public buildings. The object of the study is the internal electric power supply system of the campus of the Technical University - Varna, Bulgaria. The results of the research can be used in the analysis of other similar public buildings.
