Internet of Things (IoT) development has brought about a rapid and transformative change in our world, transitioning from self-contained systems to an interconnected web of "smart" devices capable of generating and exchanging data. This connected network holds tremendous potential for enhancing the quality of life for individuals, increasing productivity for businesses, and improving the efficiency of governments worldwide. However, this new era of IoT also presents significant concerns regarding security and privacy. Traditional security measures are inadequate in this new paradigm, since the range of Guidelines and correspondence protocols Engaged, as well as the prevalence of devices with limited resources like radiofrequency identification and wireless communication sensors. Additionally, the heterogeneity and scalability challenges inherent in the IoT infrastructure further complicate the task of securing it. To address these challenges, a flexible security infrastructure is required that can adapt to the dynamic and complex IoT environment. This article offers a comprehensive overview of the key IoT security and privacy problems, including obtainable solutions or areas for further research.
