Load balancing is an essential technique for distributing workload among various computing resources, optimizing resource consumption, increasing throughput, reducing response time, and preventing overloads. Load balancing algorithms can be static or dynamic and are commonly used in applications such as web servers, databases, and online gaming. The effectiveness of load balancing can significantly improve system performance, reliability, scalability, and availability by ensuring efficient resource usage, quick processing of requests, reducing network congestion, and providing redundancy and failover capabilities. The proposed Hybrid Algorithm is a novel solution that has proven to be superior in improving throughput for transmitting TCP packets in Tree and Dumbbell topologies. The algorithm's exceptional performance with TCP packets is a testament to its careful design and implementation, which considers the unique characteristics of these network topologies to achieve optimal results.
