T his Virtual Special Issue highlights the contributions of pharmaceutical researchers across academia and industry in Asia.The Asian research landscape is experiencing remarkable growth, with increased investment in research and development, a growing researcher population, and a rising number of publications and patents.In this special issue, we aim to showcase some of the innovative pharmaceutical research conducted in Asian countries.As guest editors, we are pleased to provide an overview of the research conducted by the Asian researchers, categorized in the following key areas for this special issue.We hope the research presented here will inspire further efforts by Asian researchers and ultimately enhance our ability to develop, manufacture, and deliver highquality, effective medications to improve global health.
