P‐13.3: Crease Improvement Method for Foldable OLED Module by Preloading Mechanism

Folding OLED has promoted new forms of display applications to the consumer market, but the existing folding display generally have serious crease problems, harming consumers' experience and purchase intention. This work proposes a new method to alleviate screen crease based on the preloading mechanism. The results show that the reflective appearance of the panel equipped with a preloading mechanism is obviously improved, and the deformation of the folding area is reduced by more than 50%, which proves the effective crease improvement.
