Selection of FFPE blocks with confocal microscope to reduce routine workload in pathology department

Pathology departments face high costs of slide cutting, staining and coverslipping. We employed a confocal microscope (Histolog® Scanner) allowing to scan FFPE blocks to investigate whether this could reduce the number of slides prepared.
