This deliverable covers two relatively independent tasks realized during the second year of the ENRICH project in frame of WP3. Therefore we decided to keep its structure divided into two parts: the first one dealing with ENRICH Garage Engine developed in WP3 instead of originally intended tools for assurance of METS/TEI interoperability (the detailed explanation can be found in the chapter 2 of Part 1) and the second one dealing with UNICODE and nonUNICODE characters in Manuscriptorium. We believe that this structure allows better understanding of what has been done and is more reader-friendly. Both parts are therefore structured as common deliverables with separate Summary, Content and Conclusions.
