How to DIY a wireless sensor node? - Case study on a node development

Attila Trohák, Rabab Benotsmane · 2023

Within the increasing of technology development, measurements have become an important pillar in any system, where the basic point in this field is to deal with sensors, networks, or sensor networks. In our daily life, we are always surrounded by plenty of sensors in the aim to collect some data about the environment or forecasting to prevent some situations. This paper introduces a basic methodology of the development of a sensor node which collects temperature and humidity values and sends them to the cloud, where the aim from this work is to build a low-cost measurement system, which can be used to monitor houses or offices, and can help us to behave more environmentally friendly. With examining the collected data, we can make decisions to save energy.
