Computational thinking (CT) is a vital component in the development of STEM and 21st-century skills.In order to integrate CT into the current curriculum, it is crucial to assess CT skills, which can provide valuable insights for teaching practices and future research.The purpose of this review is to examine recent studies on the assessment of CT skills and determine the necessity for the creation of a CT assessment system.The report includes detailed figures and tables to support the findings, as well as implications for educators, CT framework developers, and empirical researchers.By analyzing the current state of CT assessment, this review aims to contribute to the ongoing conversation on how to effectively integrate CT into educational programs.
