Differential Evolution Algorithm

With all its nuances, novelties, and abstract computational structure, the differential evolution algorithm takes the idea of evolutionary computation to the next level. As such, the differential evolution algorithm is arguably one of the most formidable meta-heuristic algorithms to handle complex real-world problems. In this chapter, we will dig deep and explore the mechanisms used in this algorithm. We would get familiar with the differential evolution algorithm’s terminology and see how one can implement this algorithm in the Python programming language. Finally, we will explore the potential merits and drawbacks of this algorithm.
