Privacy Protection in Personalized Web Searches Using Anonymity

Personalized Web Search is a one-stop solution for everyone to get answer of day-to-day questions. Web Search Engines are storing individual information creating user profiles to get better results. This storage of information creates very serious privacy concerns as the data stored online can be transferred or leaked, which can reveal user’s personal information and interests. We have proposed a system that can maintain anonymity of individual and reveal partial information to get benefits of personalization as well. The proposed system is using well-defined protocols and implemented on proxy level with privacy protection.
