Importance of 5G/6G in Telemedicine System during the Pandemic Situation

The role of electronic communication technology in telemedicineis worth to mention. Due to the advancement of communication technology,telemedicine has rapidly developed as an efficient tool for the rescue of people in distress. In this chapter,the impact of mobile communication technology on telemedicine is discussed. The 5Gmobile communication technology was used for the advancement of telemedicine system. The applications of 5G mobile communication technology for telemedicine are explored for different types of scenarios, particularly in pandemic situations. Further as 5G technology will gradually evolve to 6G,the future scope of telemedicine with respect to 6G mobile communication technologiesis also discussed.
