A framework for improving the process of potential faults detection at the design coupling

Design testing is a critical process because it includes a mechanism to ensure that software systems are designed in such a way that their subsequent implementation is correct, especially with regard to the coupling of those software components. A number of studies have been conducted to introduce methods and techniques to improve the software testing process, which will positively affect its quality. However, the focus on testing couplings is still not done enough, which can help bugs propagate unpredictably faster. As a result, this paper proposed a simplified framework that allows software developers to track the likelihood of potential faults appearing, through a structured mechanism that encourages focus on this dilemma, as well as being supportive and complementary to various validation and testing processes by focusing on design coupling tests.
