A Case Study and Detailed Implementation

In this chapter, as a case study, we provide the implementation details of a deep reinforcement learning (DRL) model to solve the anti-jamming problem in a wireless communication system. Through this case study, we provide a deep understanding on how to design, analyze, formulate, and solve an Markov decision process-based optimization problem with DRL using Python and TensorFlow. In addition, we provide the simulation results and discuss different aspects of implementing DRL as well as evaluate the impacts of hyperparameters on the learning process.
