Appendix C: A Sample Presentation
2016
In the days when presentations were delivered by means of transparencies, they were usually produced by the slides document class (part of the original LATEX package). The popularity of this class waned with the advent of data projectors. Several independently produced classes are now available for presentations. One such is the beamer document class written by Till Tantau “mainly in his spare time.” The output appears in large, clear, customized fonts, and each page supports clickable navigation. An example of a beamer file and its output are shown on pages 76-77. Note that larger-than-normal fonts have been used for clarity.
