Security has evolved into an issue that is now of the utmost importance for financial institutions. It is no longer adequate to safeguard critical information and assets by using standard passwords and PINs. Authentication based on biometric characteristics is widely regarded as one of the most trustworthy security solutions that can be used in circumstances like these. In this article, we suggest a security system that utilises fingerprint technology in conjunction with GSM technology. An Arduino microcontroller, a SIM900A GSM module, and a fingerprint sensor are the three components that make up this system, which gives financial organisations an increased degree of protection. The system is meant to use a fingerprint to identify the authorised person and to send an alarm message to both the authorised person and the management of the bank in the event that an unauthorised person accesses the system.
