IP Spoofing Detection in Grid Computing aims to prevent distributed denial-of-service attacks by identifying and blocking fake IP addresses. This is achieved through various techniques, such as network and transport layer protocols, filtering mechanisms, and machine learning algorithms. The goal is to secure the communication channels in the grid computing environment and protect against malicious activities that could disrupt the system. The implementation of IP spoofing detection in grid computing helps to improve the reliability and availability of grid computing. In grid computing, IP spoofing is a technique used to launch DDoS attacks by hiding the original source IP address of the attacker. To prevent such attacks, it is essential to detect IP spoofing and stop it from reaching the target system. This paper proposes a new approach in which the system collects network traffic data and analyses the source IP addresses to determine if they are legitimate or not.The proposed approach was tested on a grid computing environment, and the results showed that it is capable of detecting IP spoofing with a high degree of accuracy. This approach can provide a robust defense against DDoS attacks in grid computing and prevent disruption of services.
