Maintaining data confidentiality and integrity collectively is one of the essential criteria for any data transmission system. However, meeting these standards time efficiently in large data transmission is quite challenging. Over the years, numerous security tools have been developed to handle these challenges, usually using data compression followed by encryption, or vice versa, to maintain data confidentiality and integrity in parallel. However, relying on any steady encryption technique for bulky data transmission compromises data integrity. This research introduces an idle concurrent encryption and compression mechanism to reduce time complexity while enhancing data integrity and confidentiality. The capacity of the proposed technique to offer higher entropy and avalanche effect values establishes its ability to ensure the required data confidentiality. It ensures that higher data integrity can be achieved by quantifying its extent to minimize the percentage of data loss and maximize the signal-to-noise ratio. Finally, its time efficiency is measured by estimating its latitude to offer larger throughputs. This research compares the performances of this proposed technique with other existing ones to establish its decisive pre-eminence. The sectors that will benefit from this research work are banking, finance, research, and scientific development.
