Robust Watermarking in Video using Discrete Cosine Transform and Facial Landmarks
Sarah Haytham, Nidaa Flaih Hassan · 2022
As multimedia has developed, digital video watermarking technology has become widely acknowledged as a crucial tool for copyright enforcement. In this paper, a new video watermarking algorithm is presented based on landmarks of faces; the landmark of a face is localized to certain characteristic points on the face, which made these marks an optimal host. Embedding the secret message in video frames used the Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) technique, which slightly changes video. Confidentiality is improved by encrypting the watermark before embedding it in the video frames with the light SALSA20 algorithm, which increases the watermark's security. Results of experiments show that the suggested algorithm achieved significant imperceptibility and excellent resistance to different attacks.
