Identity Verification for Examinations

Identity checks in invigilated assessments are performed manually at many universities. While such manual checks are reasonable for small classes, they are time-consuming and error-prone for large classes. This paper proposes a secure identification system that improves upon the manual checks using face recognition. The paper demonstrates that the prototype constructed is both fast and reliable, and thus represents a promising alternative to traditional manual identity checks.
