Soft body simulation is a topic in computer graphics that focuses on physical simulations, such as the motion and properties of deformable objects. The generated soft bodies are commonly used in various applications, such as non-rigid point cloud registration. This paper presents a novel open-source toolset for soft body deformation simulation called SimTool. The proposed toolset assimilates 3D packages in Python and Unreal Engine 4 (UE4) with Nvidia Flex integration. SimTool, as a soft body simulation, can be adapted to further purposes, such as generating a dataset for non-rigid point cloud registration.
